I printed out some apples onto red paper. If you don’t have red paper, print them on white and have your child color them. If your child is working on their cutting skills, have him or her cut them out. I cut these for my son, as he has not yet mastered cutting curves and circles.
I took a picture of Love Bug and printed that out as well. Then I wrote the numbers on the apples, from 1 to 10.
His tasks were to put the numbers in order on the poster (a large piece of construction paper) and then glue them in place.
Then I wrote: “(child’s name) has 10 apples up on top!”
