For our preschool dinosaur theme, we started with some sensory play. Thanks to our friends at Safari Ltd. for sending us their  Dino Mega Toob. Look at what fun we had with them!

We set up our dino mega TOOB in our Ultimate Indoor Sandbox, along with some dollar store artificial plants and rocks from our collection.

This project was more process than product. If you look closely, can you can sort of, kind of see dino prints in the baked cookies? No? Well, that’s okay. Eat cookies!

Next up, a science experiment. Our dinosaurs encountered a volcano.

{We used our easy volcano recipe.}

We also took a trip to a local museum to see how big those dinos really were. We visited the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C.

And we did some fun dinosaur printable worksheets in a  free Pre-K pack from Over The Big Moon.
